Our fifth grade classIn Ms. Love's fifth grade class, students will embark on a stimulating year-long journey of academic and self-improvement. We will be learning about how to be globally-conscious citizens who are responsible for the world they live in. Students will be learning to harness the skills of the four C's (creativity, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking) to ensure tremendous progress throughout the year. Through dedication, hard work, and the thirst to learn, students will be unstoppable in their pursuit of educational and future success.

homework policy |
The homework policy for fifth graders has changed at Forestville Road Elementary School. Students will only have three homework assignments. Students should not have more than one hour of homework each night.

monday folders |
Every Monday, yellow Monday folders will be sent home with students as a tool of communication between Ms. Love and families. Students will be graded on work ethic and classroom conduct for the previous week and families must sign their initials to signify that they received their child's Monday folder. Information, newsletters, and forms may be sent home in Monday folders. Parents can also leave notes for Ms. Love in the folders. If notes require immediate feedback from Ms. Love, she will contact the family through email or phone. Students must return the Monday folders Tuesday morning.
