About ms. love
Hello Forestville family! My name is Ms. Maggie Love and I am so excited to be a part of the Forestville Road Elementary School community! Before becoming a 5th grade teacher at Forestville, I student taught in a 2nd grade class at Wiley International Studies Magnet Elementary School in downtown Raleigh. I earned my bachelor's degree in child development at Meredith College with a K-6 teaching license. At Meredith College, I was a teaching fellow and researched the decline of play-based learning in Kindergarten for my Honors thesis.
I am a Raleigh native and I am enjoying learning more about Knightdale, North Carolina! Reading, family time, and traveling are very important to me. As my fifth graders already know, the Harry Potter series were integral in my childhood and I am thrilled that my students are such passionate readers as well! I am very excited to be an educator and continue learning along with my students!
